Sensors

Connector shape, thread, and calibration differ even on the same engine family. A cam sensor with the wrong air gap or a crank sensor with a different magnet will throw a code that looks like a timing job. O2 sensors change by upstream versus downstream, heated versus not, and wideband versus narrow. ABS sensors vary by tone ring and harness length. We match the sensor so the computer sees a clean signal, not a check-engine light that comes back on the first drive. Send the VIN, the code, and a photo of the old connector if you can. We quote the exact sensor, note whether it is left or right, and mention torque and anti-seize where it matters. Cameras and radar sensors may need a calibration after install — we say so before you order. The piece you get is the one that plugs in and reads, not a universal probe with a pigtail that has to be spliced in the rain.
