Modules

Modules often need the right hardware and a conversation about programming. An ECM from a similar engine may physically plug in and still not run because the immobilizer, the tune, or the injector map does not match. We identify the board by VIN, part number on the case, and the system — engine, body, ABS, or transmission. Tell us the code on the module, the symptom, and whether the car already has a locksmith or a scan tool in the bay. We quote the module, talk cloning versus programming, and flag keys, immobilizer, and whether a dealer-level flash is required after the hardware is in. You get the board that belongs to that vehicle family, not a pull from a different emissions package. Returns on programmed modules are limited for a reason. We say that up front so the job is planned, not guessed.
