A long block is the short path when the rotating assembly and valvetrain are tired but the intake, exhaust, and accessories still have life. The block, crank, rods, pistons, heads, and cam need to match the displacement and mounting pattern of the engine you are pulling. We confirm compression, head casting family, and whether the oil pan, timing cover, and manifolds transfer before we quote. Send the VIN or a photo of the old long block tag and we will not mix a 24-valve head onto a motor that never used one. You keep the parts that still work. We source the assembly that drops in with the hardware you already have, then walk through torque specs, break-in oil, and what sensors should move over so the first start is not a parts run.
