Condensers

Parallel-flow versus older tube-and-fin, receiver-drier style, and the fitting on the lines change the condenser. A unit for a dual-zone system can have a different drier and a different pressure switch. We match it to the A/C loop so the system can be charged without fighting fittings or leaving the drier out of the circuit. Tell us the VIN, whether the A/C is warm, and if the condenser was hit or leaking. We quote the condenser, note if the drier is built in, and remind you that the system needs to be evacuated and recharged — that is not a clip-on part. Oil type, dye, and whether the compressor should be inspected after a metal-in-the-system failure are part of the conversation. The piece you get is the one that hangs in front of that radiator and takes the lines you already have.
